Made for a very specific kind of person.

This is for you if…

  • You feel bloated, heavy, or uncomfortable after meals
  • Your digestion is unpredictable
  • You've been told to "just eat more fiber" or "cut out gluten," and it didn't fix a thing
  • You've felt dismissed by doctors, or a little ashamed of symptoms nobody takes seriously
  • You want to feel better without giving up the foods tied to who you are

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps. No waiting rooms.

1. Check your coverage

Sign up and your insurance benefits get verified before you ever pay anything, so you know your cost up front.

2. Meet Mayra by video

A real assessment, in English or Spanish. Symptoms, history, eating patterns, stress and sleep. Not a 10-minute handout.

3. Get a plan that fits your kitchen

Small changes built around the food you already cook and buy, with follow-ups to adjust as your gut responds.

Low-FODMAP done right, if you need it

Short, structured, with the reintroduction phase most people never get. No permanent 40-item avoid list.

Follow-ups that adjust as your gut responds

Small changes, checked and tuned visit by visit. Medical nutrition therapy, billed to your insurance.

MEET YOUR DIETITIAN

Hi, I'm Mayra, a Latina GI dietitian who grew up around a table full of arroz, habichuelas, and café.

I take real gut science and translate it into something that works in a real Hispanic kitchen. No fear. No shame. No giving up who you are to feel good in your body.

I trained at the University of Puerto Rico and spent more than 13 years in hospitals, dialysis clinics, and telehealth. So complex cases don't scare me. If you're managing your gut plus diabetes, kidney disease, or heart health, we build one plan that covers all of it

I know the food you cook: Caribbean, Mexican, Latin American, Spanish, Mediterranean, and gluten-free kitchens. Your plan starts with what's already on your table

Approaches:

Low-FODMAP
Relationship with foods
Accountability
Meal planning
Lab review
Evidence-based nutrition
Goal Setting
Patient centered
Holistic

Questions Before You Book

Does insurance cover a dietitian?

Many commercial plans cover medical nutrition therapy. Coverage depends on your plan and diagnosis, so your benefits are checked before your first visit.

Do I need a referral?

Some plans require one. If yours does, your doctor can fax a referral to 478-210-5271.

What happens at the first visit?

We go through your symptoms, history, and eating patterns, then set a few clear first steps. No 40-item avoid list.

How many visits will I need?

Most people start with a first visit and a few follow-ups, then space them out. It depends on your symptoms and what your plan covers. Mayra tells you what she recommends at the end of your first visit.

Dietitian vs nutritionist?

Anyone can call themselves a nutritionist. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist is a protected credential: a degree, supervised practice, a national exam, and ongoing education. It's also why insurance covers RDN visits.

Which states do you serve?

38 states, all by video. See the full list.

¿Atienden en español?

Sí. Todas las citas pueden ser en español o en inglés, como te sientas más cómoda. Mayra es dietista registrada (nutricionista) bilingüe, y conoce tu cocina.
